The 140th Canton Fair will open this October at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Pazhou, Guangzhou, marking the fair's 70th anniversary. With a focus on innovation, sustainability and smart technology, this year's fair will run in three phases. Its exhibits span 13 major categories and 54 exhibition sections, covering electronics and household appliances, industrial manufacturing, quality home living, fashion and lifestyle, and more.

The Huada HDS series of large permanent-magnet variable-frequency ceiling fans was developed to improve comfort in very large workspaces. The fans use an independently designed, energy-efficient permanent-magnet external-rotor motor with variable-frequency speed control. The exhibition complex is easy to reach. Public transport is recommended.

Metro — Recommended

• Line 8: Xingangdong Station, near Area A.
• Line 8: Pazhou Station, near Areas B and C.
• From Baiyun Airport: Take Line 3 and transfer to Line 8. The journey takes approximately 40–60 minutes.
• Airport and Rail Connections
• From Baiyun Airport, take an airport bus or the metro to the venue.
• From Guangzhou South Railway Station or Guangzhou East Railway Station, travel by metro or taxi takes approximately 30–50 minutes.

Other Transport Options

Taxi or ride-hailing: Ask the driver for the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou.

Shuttle bus: Free hotel-to-venue shuttle buses operate during the fair.

Water bus: Depart from the Convention and Exhibition Center pier and enjoy views of the Pearl River.

Parking: Parking at the complex is limited, and nearby spaces are in high demand. Environmentally friendly travel is strongly recommended, with the metro as the first choice. During the Canton Fair, vehicles registered outside Guangzhou are exempt from restrictions during the relevant periods, but public transport remains the recommended option.

Practical Visitor Tips

Plan your visit: Phase 1 focuses on machinery and electrical products. Mark the booths you want to visit in advance. The fair opens at 9:30 a.m. each day; arriving early helps you avoid peak crowds.

What to bring: Comfortable shoes for extensive walking, a power bank, business cards and a notebook. The weather can change, so bring a lightweight jacket.

Dining and breaks: The complex has several dining areas, and temporary food stalls are often available during the fair.

Business networking: Prepare business cards and company materials. Scan QR codes to connect on WeChat, or leave your contact details to make follow-up communication easier.
